The USL W-League club Oakland Soul Sports Club channels the imagination and vibrancy of its hometown in its 2024 jerseys crafted by Charly.
The club unveiled the jerseys on Thursday, April 18, and will debut them for the first time in the W League 2024 season opener on Sunday, May 5, against Stockton Cargo. Both jerseys feature the logo of Soul’s new main partner, CircleCI – a leading platform for continuous integration and continuous deployment – on the front, as well as the logos of Anthem Blue Cross on the sleeve and Ava Community Energy on the back.
The Soul describe the 2024 primary jersey as „wearable art,“ thoughtfully designed to embody the soul of Oakland through its unique features. The jersey is predominantly black with a pattern of hand-drawn flowers throughout; the pattern is color-coordinated on the front and back, with neon blue, pink, and yellow accents on the sleeves.

The secondary jersey, on the other hand, pays homage to Oakland’s Fruitvale district, „the beating heart of the city’s Latino community.“ Its purple base is „inspired by the colorful streets and rich elements that define the character of the area,“ while the yellow and white patterns emanating from the club crest „evoke the energy of vibrant festivals and intricate art in Fruitvale.“
