Forge FC, based in Hamilton, Ontario, is set to make a statement in the upcoming 2024 Canadian Premier League season with their new home and away jerseys by Macron.
The reigning CanPL champions unveiled the jerseys on Thursday, March 28th, at a fan event at Tim Hortons Field. They celebrate the club’s immense success in its history, having won four CanPL titles in the league’s five-year history.
According to Forge FC, the home jersey is „a masterpiece of design embodying the essence of the club’s heritage and achievements.“ It is predominantly in Forge’s signature orange hue but features gold accents around the collar and sleeve cuffs. The abstract geometric pattern on the jersey shows „sparks flying from a hammer in action – a nod to the club’s relentless spirit and determination.“
The alternate jersey is „a stunning homage to the mesmerizing allure of Hamilton, known as the waterfall capital of the world,“ says the club. „This kit captures the city’s natural beauty and showcases the unique waterfall white look of the club, making a subtle yet powerful reference to the captivating force of water cascading down a waterfall.“
The sublimated geometric texture on the white shirt features „three dynamic orange sparks, reminiscent of a forge ablaze with energy – a powerful symbol of resilience, strength, and unity.“ The sleeve cuffs boast orange and gray stripes, with gray side panels and orange trims at the hem. The gray polo collar has an orange band underneath and a gray insert on the front.
Forge FC kicks off its CanPL 2024 season by hosting the Calgary-based Cavalry FC in a rematch of the 2023 CanPL Championship final on Saturday, April 13th.
