Major League Baseball and New Era have released their Ballcap Collection for Armed Forces Day to be worn across the league during the weekend of May 17, 18, and 19.

This year’s caps, crowns, buttons, and visors are black for each team. The typical team cap logo is on the front, but has been recolored in army green and black. Inside each logo is a green camouflage pattern with six stars (three on each side) next to it.

On the right side of the cap is a patch with two crossed lightning bolts and a home plate-shaped shield with an American flag-style pattern. These are all arranged in a camouflage-filled circle. The MLB logo on the back of the cap is black/yellow/green and the underside of the brim is green; the inner sweatbands are black.

The Toronto Blue Jays, the only team based outside the United States, naturally receive their own version of this design, with Canadian symbols replacing American ones. Four maple leaves replace the six stars, and the flag on the side patch becomes Canadian.

The six stars on the 29 caps of the American teams represent the six branches of the United States Armed Forces: the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. The Blue Jays‘ cap features four maple leaves, even though there are only three branches of the Canadian Armed Forces: the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Canadian Air Force.

Here’s a look at all thirty ballcaps for MLB Armed Forces Day in 2024, divided by American League and National League for better overview:
