After cleaning up confetti following UConn’s 75-60 victory over Purdue on Monday night, we are already looking forward to the NCAA Men’s Final Four next year, taking place on April 5th and 7th at the Alamodome in San Antonio in 2025.
This will be the fifth time San Antonio has hosted the event, following the seasons of 1997-98, 2003-04, 2007-08, and 2017-18, putting it behind only Kansas City (10), Indianapolis (eight), New York City (seven), Louisville (six), and New Orleans (six) for the most Final Fours hosted by a city.
„We are thrilled to bring the Men’s Final Four back to the city of San Antonio, which has a rich history of hosting this event and providing a fantastic experience for all,“ said Dan Gavitt, Senior Vice President of Basketball for the NCAA, in a statement.
The logo for the 2025 Final Four, unveiled in December, is heavily influenced by Mission-style architecture and features a Fiesta-style color palette reminiscent of the San Antonio Spurs from 1989 to 2002, who played their home games at the Alamodome.
Future Final Four hosting locations include Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in 2026 and 2029, Ford Field in Detroit in 2027, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in 2028, and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in 2030.
