There is a great deal of confusion surrounding the Coronavirus or COVID-19. Even professionals seem to be searching for solutions. That’s why we’re praying for those affected and those who are not, and for a quick end to this terrible outbreak!
What We Believe to Know About Coronavirus (COVID-19):
Firstly, bear in mind that these thoughts on the virus are constantly changing…
- It is an airborne and severe acute respiratory illness, a cousin of the SARS virus.
- The incubation period (time of contagiousness) of the virus can last up to 24 days.
- Patients who test positive for the virus but show no symptoms should remain isolated for at least 24 days, not just 14 days.
- Symptoms can appear 2 to 14 days after exposure.
- The virus may or may not survive on smooth surfaces.
- People who have received the flu vaccine are likely to test positive for the virus.
- Some tests result in many „false positive results“.
- Vulnerable populations include the elderly, people with weakened immune systems or illnesses, and small children.
- The virus seems to affect more men than women and may affect up to 10% of those affected, although no one knows for certain. The World Health Organization indicates that the current mortality rate is 3.4%.
- Symptoms may include: cough, fever, shortness of breath, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and even septic shock.
- The virus can spread through breathing, coughing, sneezing, touching infected people or things like doorknobs.

Can We Prevent or Treat COVID-19?
With so many unknowns about this virus, we must do our best to prevent its spread. Here are a few suggestions:
Preventive Measures to Consider:
- Consider these ideas from my post: 100 Natural Ways to Prevent the Flu.
- Vitamin C 1,000 mg/3x daily
- Elderberry, Selenium, Licorice Root, N-Acetylcysteine, and Spirulina.
- It has been found that Herbacetin, Rhoifolin, and Pectolinarin efficiently block the enzymatic activity of SARS-CoV 3CLpro. Herbacetin contains a flavonoid found in flaxseed. Rhoifolin comes from citrus peel. Pectolinarin flavonoid has been identified in sage or tickberry.
- Use a diffuser with natural essential oils at home, especially clove oil, which has a high ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) value.
- Activated charcoal is used in emergency rooms to remove toxins/food poisoning from the intestines.
