The Triple-A Nashville Sounds, a Milwaukee Brewers affiliate from 2005 to 2014 and again since 2021, are paying homage to their parent club this season by playing as the Nashville Brewskis. Last season, the Sounds introduced the powder-blue alternates designed by Brandon Lamarche of 3-2 Designs and have added a new two-tone on-field cap this season.

„This design is the longest I’ve had to wait from completion to its real-life debut,“ Lamarche shared on social media. „We completed this project with the Sounds just before the pandemic hit! The jersey made its debut on the field last season. With the cap debut this season, the uniform is complete!“

The powder-blue color scheme pays tribute to the iconic uniforms worn by the Milwaukee Brewers from 1970 to 1984, which were reintroduced in their City Connect „Brew Crew“ jerseys. According to the team, the colors reflect the summer season in Wisconsin: Powder Blue represents „a nod to Milwaukee’s vibrant summer sky,“ Yellow „evokes the warmth, vibrancy, and joy of summer in Cream City,“ and Navy „symbolizes our beloved Lake Michigan.“

Nashville unveiled its new Brewskis caps on April 16 and will take the field in them again on September 3 this season.
