Logo of the Green Paths campaign

The Green Paths action programme was launched in September 1999 at the IFN-congress at Blankenberge (Belgium).

Taking the path as its starting point, the campaign is intended to promote contact with the nature and culture of a region and contact between people. It is targeted on all Friends of Nature and consists of a wide range of projects throughout Europe. In 2002, this very successful campaign was integrated into the action programme 'Protecting Landscapes - Experiencing Europe'.
