As summer comes to an end (*tears), it brings shorter days, longer nights, and more time spent at home. For many of us, this transition between seasons can be somewhat contradictory. On one hand, we mourn the long summer days spent in the sun with our closest people, good food, and drinks. But on the other hand, I personally look forward to the rainy days spent indoors, cozying up with my favorite tea and cuddling with Effie on the couch. Can you relate?
I’ve heard of the Danish word „Hygge,“ which has sparked my anticipation for autumn and preparing my home for September. Hygge is a feeling that evokes coziness and contentment. It’s about creating a warm atmosphere where you feel safe and satisfied – perfect for the fall season!
