La Hydra & Italdo:
If you’re craving Italian food, La Hydra and Italdo are the places to visit. Bonus points for Italido, which is located next to a bar with an amazing wine selection!
Real Coconut:
For a meal with a beach view, head to Real Coconut. Their menu is rich in fresh, local meats and seafood, offering everything from ceviche to barbecue chicken to plantain tacos.
Laylo:
Another great vegan spot with lively music, a vibrant atmosphere, and incredible guacamole. It’s worth trying Laylo even if you’re not a vegan!
Antojitos la Chiapaneca:
This place offers a great mix of locals and tourists, serving some crazy tacos, chips, and guacamole. The fast service makes it an ideal spot for a quick lunch between activities.
Mezzanine:
Mezzanine is a luxurious spot with incredible views and a Thai-inspired menu with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. It’s also a great place for a date!
Burrito Amor:
As the name suggests, Burrito Amor offers incredible, GIANT burritos—the perfect lunch after a long morning of swimming or exploring Tulum.
Ganzheitlich:
One of my favorite spots in Tulum, offering everything from French toast to fresh juice to the creamiest labneh with roasted zucchini. The tranquil setting in a quiet jungle boutique hotel makes it a great escape from some of the more touristy destinations.
Gitiano Beach:
Gitiano Beach’s restaurant offers incredible flavor combinations, from fresh watermelon, avocado, and coriander salad to churros!
