Cooking/Baking – I have never really enjoyed cooking, but this year I am consciously making an effort to pay more attention to what I eat. This unfortunately means a lot less takeout and a lot more time in the kitchen. And I have to say, when it’s so cold outside, why not stand in the kitchen with a risotto and a glass of wine?
A Short Getaway – this is a MUST. I love a little short getaway in the winter months, whether it’s a trip to a warm place (to remind myself of better times!) or a stay in the countryside, both are perfect for those winter days when you just don’t know what to do with yourself! Go sunbathing on the beach or cozy up in a cottage!
