Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh underwent arthroscopic debridement surgery on his left knee on Friday.
The 26-year-old Marsh is expected to return to the diamond in three to four weeks and be ready for Opening Day, the team announced.
Marsh hit .277 with 12 home runs and 60 RBIs in 133 games last season.
He is batting .259 with 25 home runs and 131 RBIs in 337 career games for the Los Angeles Angels and Phillies.
The Phillies acquired Marsh on August 2, 2022, in a trade with the Angels in exchange for catcher Logan O’Hoppe.
