Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill claimed to have filed for divorce 76 days after his marriage, but easily searchable court records prove otherwise.
On January 22, a petition for dissolution of marriage appeared on the Broward County Clerk’s website, listing Hill as the petitioner and his wife Keeta Vaccaro as the respondent.
However, the speedy wideout claimed on X/Twitter that the two are still happily married.
On Tuesday, Vaccaro was served a subpoena.
Vaccaro, sister of former New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro, is an entrepreneur who met Hill in 2020. Their relationship with the eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver became a major storyline on the MAX series Hard Knocks. One of their standout moments was when Hill suffered an ankle injury against the Titans in December. At halftime, she texted him, „Move better back into the game.“
This is the first time Hill has filed for divorce from one of his partners, although the petition was denied.
Earlier this month, a fire broke out at Hill’s Florida home as two children were playing with a lighter. The damage caused by the fire at his South Florida home is estimated at $2.3 million.
