The Spanish La Liga powerhouse, Real Madrid, has just clinched their record-breaking 15th UEFA Champions League title and is keeping it simple with their new home jerseys for the 2024-25 season.

Real Madrid unveiled the Adidas-manufactured jerseys on Wednesday, June 5, on their website and social media channels. While predominantly white as usual, this year’s edition features a subtle houndstooth pattern on the front and back.

The shapes that make up the houndstooth pattern are designed to resemble small Rs and Ms, repeating the club’s initials throughout the shirt.

The Adidas shoulder stripes, collar trim, and sponsor logos are all in black. Accents on the new Adidas template, like the swerves running from the back of the shorts up the sides of the jersey, are in white to blend with the rest of the kit. The socks are also white with black trim.

Along with the jerseys, Real Madrid also introduced a new font for names and numbers for cup competitions.

Real Madrid also unveiled a new goalkeeper kit on Wednesday. Following the trend seen in MLS clubs this season and other notable European clubs that have already launched jerseys this summer, Madrid opted for a light blue base with pink geometric shapes and purple lines on the front.

Real Madrid kicks off their preseason tour in the USA with a match against Italian side AC Milan at Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday, July 31. On Saturday, August 3, they face their arch-rivals FC Barcelona from La Liga at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, before taking on Premier League side Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Tuesday, August 6.

They will also play against UEFA Europa League winners Atalanta BC from Italy on Saturday, August 14, before the start of their La Liga 2024-25 season.
