Real Madrid enthüllt die Auswärtstrikots der letzten Saison gegen Valencia – SportsLogos.Net News

Before the match against Valencia CF last weekend, the Spanish La Liga star Real Madrid had to dig deep into their pockets.

Real Madrid traveled to Camp de Mestalla on Saturday, March 2nd, to play a La Liga match against Valencia. However, when they entered the field, they were wearing their light violet away jerseys from the 2022-23 season.

This was because Valencia, as the home team, had the first choice of which kit they wanted to wear, opting for their traditional home combination of white jersey, black shorts, and black socks.

Real Madrid apparently only has one option for shorts with each of their away and alternate kits for 2023-24, and they match the color of the kit. The away kit is navy blue and the alternate kit is black, meaning both shorts are indistinguishable from those of their opponents.

Technically, Real could have worn their white home shorts with either the away or alternate kit to avoid the clash, but they opted for the light violet ensemble instead.

The purple jersey was also noteworthy as it featured the old Adidas logo on the chest, with the company name spelled out below the three stripes.

The jerseys may live on in infamy as the referee disallowed a potential game-winning goal by Real Madrid by announcing the end of the game while the attack was still in progress. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
