Ohio State hat Bill O'Brien angeheuert… quasi mit Absicht

Can you believe it? What?! A part of me wants to plaster this meme on a billboard in the heart of Columbus.

Michigan hasn’t played in weeks and they’re still pulling off wins. Their response to the North team finishing a 15-0 season and high-fiving a nice guy is to… hire Bill O’Brien? BILL O’BRIEN?! WILLIAM JAMES O’BRIEN?! (of course the ‚O‘ stands for his chin dimple)

Look, Bill O’Brien is a good person to hire if you’re okay with not winning championships.

Look at this statistic and make sure your chin dimple isn’t dragging on the ground. The two greatest head coaches of all time, and he happened to be on their team during the years they couldn’t lift any trophies. That’s incredible. It’s like being in the live studio audience of The Big Bang Theory during an episode where they actually said something funny. What are the odds?!

But for anyone who has followed Bill O’Brien’s career, this should come as no surprise. This is a man who, four minutes into the second quarter, had a 24-point lead over the Kansas City Chiefs and somehow found himself trailing at halftime. Oh, and en route to a 51-31 loss, gave up 41 unanswered points. But hey, it’s not like he had any part in that game. But when the Texans added GM to his office name, he traded Deandre Hopkins for a broken paperclip, a half-eaten Tootsie Roll, and David Johnson. And I’m pretty sure that wasn’t even a joke. I don’t know how many times teams need to experiment with the Bill O’Brien experiment before realizing he doesn’t make programs better. The guy has a black hole plastered on his chin, and what do black holes do? THEY SUUUUCK!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a blogger. Not a conkerberry. I’m not an Ohio State fan. I’m a fan of Content U. That’s why I love the move. Do I think it’s damn dumb? Absolutely. But we crave the dumb because we’re dumb. So why stop here? Bring back Urban Meyer while you’re at it. And have both of them mold the ‚I‘ every week. Welcome to Columbus, BOB!
