Minnesota Timberwolves unveiled their 2023-24 City Edition Court on Tuesday, set to make its season debut during today’s game against the San Antonio Spurs (8:00 pm ET on Bally Sports North).

The court complements the Timberwolves‘ City Edition jerseys with a sea theme, predominantly blue with a white water tower pattern transitioning in the shoulder area and is the third design in the team’s rotation alongside the standard and classic edition courts.

„Our City Edition jerseys have been a hit all season, and we are very excited to introduce the matching court,“ said Chief Marketing Officer Mike Grahl. „The fun and vibrant lakeside theme at the Target Center is now elevated to another level for fans to enjoy this season.“

The main Minnesota logo is prominently featured in the center of the court, though it incorporates the aforementioned water structure in the basketball and is not monochromatic as seen on the right side of this year’s City Edition shorts.

This pattern extends to the keys as well as a section of the baseline and sidelines, with one side featuring a solid shade of blue matching the shorts, while the other half features the pattern to „give fans court-side the feeling of having their feet in the water.“

The court is complete with „Land of 10,000 Lakes“ along the lower sideline, complementing the phrase above the jock tag and the silicone stripes running along the uniform sides, as well as the „Minnesota“ wordmark from the jersey at the baselines.

The Timberwolves will use the court four more times this season, including on February 28th against the Memphis Grizzlies, March 22nd against the Cleveland Cavaliers, April 9th against the Washington Wizards, and April 12th against the Atlanta Hawks.

Minnesota previously paired their City Edition jerseys with their in-season tournament court or standard court or wore them on the road, with a design record of 6-4 – they still plan to wear it seven more times this season, including five times at home and twice on the road – this season.
