Experience the magic of accordion music with the Kenosha Kickers! The college summer class Kenosha Kingfish is transforming into the Polka Kings of the Midwest for a game this season as the Kenosha Kickers.

The Kenosha Kickers!

The Kenosha Kickers are a fictional polka band from the movie „Home Alone“, led by John Candy’s Gus Polinski, the „Polka King of the Midwest“. When their flight is canceled due to snow in the movie, the band rents a moving truck and drives from Scranton, Pennsylvania to Milwaukee, located in the home state of Wisconsin where the Kingfish play.

The series of logos designed by Tony Horning are in shades of chestnut brown and yellow used by the band, featuring a combination of musical instruments and baseball elements. The main logo showcases a bass drum with baseball seam details on the skin, crossed clarinet and baseball bat in the background. A secondary mark cleverly continues Wisconsin’s long tradition of baseball glove logos by pairing an accordion with a baseball to create a glove.

Celebrate Home Alone Night with the Kingfish on July 6th, when the weather in Chicago is expected to be less snowy than Christmas.
