Freitagsfavoriten 2.23 – Der Fitnessista

von NFI Redaktion

Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are your plans for this weekend? The kids are taking a break from rodeo – that’s an Arizona thing! – so we’re enjoying sleeping in, fun adventures, and no homework (thank goodness). I’d love to hear what you’re up to! I’m on day five of the CBO protocol and still going strong. It’s been challenging to live without garlic and onions, but I’ve been cooking up some amazing vegetarian and protein-rich meals along with supplements. I’ll share my healing journey in a future post; if you have any questions you’d like me to answer, please leave them in the comments! It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here, I share my favorite finds of the week both in real life and on the internet. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so please share in the comment section below.

**Friday Favorites 2.23**
**Random/Life:** A little getaway to San Diego. The Pilot and I spent just over 24 hours at one of our favorite spots for our good friend Jeremy’s 50th birthday. We’ve been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool, and they’re like family to us. We’ve traveled together and met up in various places often. We flew to San Diego on Saturday morning and went straight to Liberty Station. We did some shopping, walked around, and had a delicious lunch at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready for the party! (While getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was a treat to watch daytime TV together.) The party was fantastic as expected. Betsy always has the best decor and an amazing spread. Chef Ron and his team were in the kitchen preparing all the food, and a bartender on the terrace was mixing up unique cocktails and drinks. Dress is here // Shoes here // Purse from RTR (I conducted a poll on IG to find out if the Pilot should shave his mustache. Over 300 people said YES, while about 16 said he should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to convince him to keep it, haha) It was a very late, very fun night, and somehow I managed to get my butt out of bed to attend a Lagree class at Define on Sunday. If you’re in San Diego, take a class with Carina! We taught Barre together when we lived in SD, and she’s super fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her beautiful studio whenever we’re in town! We had breakfast at Liberty Station – we didn’t leave Point Loma the whole time – and then headed to the airport to rejoin the crew. It’s amazing how one night can make you feel like a human again and so refreshed.

**Reading, Watching, Listening:** I just started and it’s already living up to the hype. Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast with Angie Lee! How admitting your weakness can actually make you stronger.

**Fashion + Beauty:** The SUPER exciting Beautycounter launch is coming next week. I haven’t been posting much about Beautycounter lately because I wasn’t excited about the new products. I’ve been waiting for years, and it’s going to be GOOD. This week feels like spring, so naturally, I’ve been eyeing a few spring finds. Here are some things I have my eye on: This midi dress This mini wrap dress This dress with sandals or dressed up for date nights These heart earrings These Birks These ballerina flats This square neck swimsuit

**Fitness, Health, and Good Eats:** New rebounder! I’ve been wanting one for a while to support my lymphatic system, and I found this affordable option on Amazon. It was super easy to set up, and it’s fun to play music and jump for 5-10 minutes. As expected, the kids love it too. You must try the best gluten-free brownies. I particularly appreciate this piece of science as women usually get the short end of the stick on these things. Have a wonderful Friday, friends! xoxo Gina
