As a new day arrives, more Major League Soccer teams are presenting new jerseys for the 2024 season.

Seven MLS teams unveiled their new jerseys on Friday, following a Thursday frenzy where twelve teams released new jerseys.

MLS teams typically release new jerseys every year, alternating between primary and secondary kits, each worn for two years. In 2023, four teams had alternate kits – Toronto FC, Atlanta United, New York City FC, and New York Red Bulls – and there are rumors that four to five teams will also receive alternate kits this season.

Here is the list of new 2024 jerseys that were unveiled on Friday and that will be updated throughout the day:

FC Cincinnati encourages its fans to make a statement with its new secondary jersey. The base of the jersey is white with accents such as sleeve cuffs, side inserts, side/hem bands, and collar insert featuring a unique orange and blue design. A brush on the back collar leaves an orange stripe with the phrase „MAKE YOUR MARK,“ encouraging each wearer to be unique and creative and tell their own story.

The Colorado Rapids are raising the flag with their new primary jersey. The burgundy jersey features a wavy checkerboard pattern on the front and sleeves, symbolizing the Rapids „planting a stake in the ground by raising their flag to support young peoples‘ access to soccer.“ Accents such as Adidas shoulder stripes, sleeve cuffs, side inserts, and side/hem bands are sky blue.

The Columbus Crew will defend their MLS Cup 2023 in new primary jerseys. The shirt is predominantly yellow with a grainy, jagged black band on the chest, „inspired by the bold, angular architecture of Black & Gold’s Fortress Lower.com Field and the buildings surrounding their home in Astor Park. Accents such as side inserts, Adidas shoulder stripes, and trims around the collar and sleeve cuffs are solid black. The MLS patch on the left sleeve is silver to commemorate the Crew’s 2023 championship, and a third star has been added above the club crest on both this jersey and the secondary jersey.

LA GALAXY – Primary

Responding to fan requests, the sash is back on the LA Galaxy’s primary jersey, so to speak. Gray diagonal stripes on the front of the white jersey are long enough to form a sash with the club crest. The yellow Adidas shoulder stripes feature a dark blue outline, and the yellow side/hem band has a dark blue stripe down the middle.

Following the release of a secondary kit themed „Northern Lights“ last year, Minnesota United has turned to the night sky again for inspiration for its new primary jersey. „The jersey features a fresh interpretation of a black look, deepening the club’s connection to its primary color and reflecting the stunning, boundless glory of the North Star State,“ according to MLSSoccer.com.

ST. LOUIS CITY SC – Secondary

Celebrating the rivers Missouri and Mississippi, the new secondary jersey of St. Louis CITY SC features a tonal wave pattern on the front and sleeves of the white base jersey, „representing the unstoppable energy flowing through the city and fans coming together here at CITY PARK.“ Accents on the jersey, including sponsor logos and the club crest, are in CITY’s distinctive red color.

The Vancouver Whitecaps are bringing gold to celebrate their 50th season. Their new secondary jersey features golden accents and logos on a navy blue base. The side panels are white, and a front collar insert is white with gold trim. The side/hem band, which this season has typically been a solid color for most Adidas MLS jerseys, is split vertically between gold and white. A golden soccer ball with a maple leaf in the middle is raised on the left chest, representing the original crest worn by the Whitecaps from 1974 to 1978 in the North American Soccer League.
