Earlier this week, the NFL unveiled the logo for Super Bowl LIX, to be held on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

It will be the 11th Super Bowl to be held in New Orleans, making it the closest tie to the Miami metropolitan area. It will also be the eighth to be played at the Superdome, formerly known as the Louisiana Superdome and Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

New Orleans was home to its first three Super Bowls at the Tulane Stadium, including IV in 1970, VI in 1972, and IX in 1975, which were originally intended for the Superdome, but construction was not completed on time.

Now, let’s take a look back at the logos the NFL used for each Super Bowl held in New Orleans, including XII in 1978, and XLVII in 2013.
