There were persistent rumors that this could be Bill Belichick’s final season as head coach of the New England Patriots. The team enters the final week of the regular NFL season with a 4-12 record and has experienced uneven QB play since Tom Brady’s departure from the city.
The Hoodie has, in typical fashion, said: He is on his way to the next opponent instead of discussing what his future holds. During his Tuesday call with The Greg Hill Show on WEEI 93.7 FM in Boston, Belichick told the hosts he would reveal his next steps.
„If I were to do something, I would post it on Twitter and MyFace,“ he said. „If I don’t do that, then I’ll just keep it private.“
If you’re a fan of FX’s The League, then you might remember that MyFace is TacoCorp’s offline social network.
MyFace was introduced in Season 3, Episode 5 and was the invention of Taco McArthur after he grew tired of his friends‘ excessive use of social media.
„I came up with an alternative,“ he said. „I created the first-ever social offline network.“
Taco’s MyFace „Wall“ – actually just a bulletin board – was adorned with photos of the other characters, including Ruxin, Andre, and Rafi, who provided a „status update“ by sticking a Post-it note that read „Rafi is here“ on the board with a dart.
It’s one of many business ventures of TacoCorp, including Neckflix, EBDBBnB, and Taco Tones.
As for Belichick, he has been leading the Pats since 2000 and serving as the de facto GM. The 71-year-old has a career record of 333-177 and the record number of six Super Bowl wins as head coach.
