In many countries, children have to work in tourism – often long hours or even at night. In some destinations it is common that children are sexually exploited by tourists. Even child trafficking can take place in tourism destinations. This exploitation clearly violates international law.

Human-induced climate change is among the greatest challenges of our time. At the beginning of December 2015, the 21st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) will be held in Paris. The aim is to adopt a new international climate protection agreement to replace the not very effective Kyoto Protocol.

Naturfreunde und Bundesforste für Engagement für Menschen mit Behinderung ausgezeichnet.

Die Initiative „Naturerleben für alle“ von Naturfreunden und Österreichischen Bundesforsten wurde am 4. Oktober 2015 bei der Life-Award Gala als bestes Projekt in der Kategorie „Bauliche Barrierefreiheit“ ausgezeichnet. Die Auszeichnung bestätigt das erfolgreiche Engagement beider Organisationen für die Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderungen.
