In addition to a general part on Natura 2000 and on the Natura Trails campaign, existing project drafts for new Natura Trails will be substantiated and the idea of cross-border Natura Trails will be followed up in the framework of the seminar.
The intention is to form an international Natura Trails network in the course of the next years to promote the experience of nature in Natura 2000-areas, raises the awareness for the European network of protected areas and inspires nature and environmentally sound leisure time activities. IFN established a group of experts to coordinate the individual projects and to guarantee certain quality standards for each Natura Trail.
