Our work is focused on shaping the sustainable development of our societies and includes in particular protecting, cultivating and making people aware of our natural and cultural heritage as well as ensuring that nature-based tourism is environmentally compatible, encouraging sustainable mobility  and making the right to a healthy environment and living conditions a reality for all people.

From 22th to 25th October 2009, Kudowa Zdrój – the old spa laying at the foot of the Stołowe Mountains played host to the IV International Seminar on Mountain Tourism entitled: MOUNTAIN TOURISM IN NATURA 2000 AREAS - Conflict or Opportunity?

The Conference within the framework of the NFI Presidents conference was on Biodiversity and raising the awareness of nature conservation, and to introduce several projects of the Naturefriends. In course of the conference, the first Natura Trail in Stuttgart was officially inaugurated.
