In the framework of the 20th IFN congress on 27th of September in Liberec/Czech Republic, Friends of Nature Togo have been accepted as associated member of the Friends-of-Nature network.

From 4 – 25 August 2008, 14 Senegalese Friends of Nature stayed in Germany for a “friendship and working visit”. Ingeborg Pint, IFN advisor for African Friends-of-Nature organisations, accompanied them for 12 days.
”An Impelling Idea“ was the motto chosen by IFN for the Congress in Munich in 2005, which was organised in conjunction with the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Friends of Nature Germany. At the end of this Congress period we now need to ask ourselves, whether we actually did put things in motion with our activities?
The IFN (International Friends of Nature) European Friendship Cycling Trail opens up opportunities for becoming acquainted with Europe’s varied landscapes in a leisurely fashion. ‘Points of departure’ are encounters with the local population and mindfulness of milieu and culture.
